MEDITATION - an Introduction

The best way to find inner peace, is to practice meditation. There is nothing mystical about meditation. It will not tie you to any religion or religious belief, though it is practiced by many of them.

Meditation is an exercise in relaxation and inner awareness – it permits us to escape from the clamour of the outside world and the tyranny of our own minds. It is the ideal tool to free us from anxiety for a time and give us the peace we need to enjoy our lives even during the times of crisis that we all face.

Better decisions are made by those who are able to achieve this peaceful awareness.

How do you meditate? That is like asking “How do you speak?” There are many ways to achieve peace through meditation. Some of them are short and very simple, others longer. Some are even tied to everyday activities.

We shall give you a number of different methods, starting with the simplest and gradually adding to this part of the site.
